Looking back to into 2010....

The year 2010 is coming to an end, and I want to look back into the year, and remember my favorite photos. The pictures of this year tell a whole story, every single one of them. Getting my camera, my first senior session(s), etc. If it weren't for some of these people in these pictures, I wouldn't be who I am today, I wouldn't have had the experience, and I would have missed out on some great fun!

This is my sisters family! Aren't they beautiful?? I think so! =) They have so many special things about them, especially that along with her two kids now, she is expecting two more; TWINS! So this is a photo session before it gets cold, while she can still move around well,too!

It's been a while!

Here's a reason to smile! =)

It all started like this...

Josh: Boyfriend of almost four years, and one of the many people who encouraged everything photography for me.

So you ask me, how did you realize you loved photography? It has always been in my heart, I just needed that boost.

Almost Two years ago, Josh was getting his GED. and he decided he wanted pictures taken, sort of like senior pictures! he asked me to do them, so It all started then... with a crappy camera, and no editing program. I didn't want to mess the pictures up, but he said he wouldn't trust anybody else, he wanted them to be all him, and not fake.

The instant I started his little photo shoot, My eyes lit up with excitement...let me remind you, I had no clue what i wanted to do with life.

Even though, the camera wasn't the best at that time, I kept going and going. and pretty soon, after months, I knew I wanted to be a photographer, I knew I had it in me the whole time.

SO Josh, brightened up my life, and opened my eyes to something new; Photography.

Big changes.

There have been some big changes lately, well some not so big for YOU, but BIG for me. You may ask, why the lack of pictures? why no effort? Well you see, I have moved, and the past few months, I have been working on this new house. It has been crazy, but I haven't forgotten my one true love; photography.

a WEBSITE (this has been a 3 month long project, creating this website, and I cannot wait to launch it =)
Some more new pictures
and a SPECIAL project, a personal project I have been working on, and it is a surprise. This has been in progress for a while now.

So, now you see how hard this is, I am not giving up, I am just getting started. =)

Nick and Paige: Homecoming 2010

Nick and Paige are adorable! Nick is my nephew(He's 15, scary, huh?), and Paige is his girlfriend! I had the honor to take their photos before their homecoming dance! They both looked so nice, and I hope they have a great time! These are my 'Fave Fives' and their preview! It was so hard to choose which pictures to show them first! Meet Avery!

Isn't Avery A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E??
He's my new Kitten! I got him a week ago, he was sad, lonely, and homeless! I adopted him! He's a pretty funny kitten, but he can be SUCH a monster sometimes. His favorite thing to do is steal peoples' phone chargers and hide them under my moms bed! He's precious! and thankfully, he's a little chunker now!

Harley The Birthday Pup

Harley turned 3 on Wednesday! He got to come visit us today, so I just HAD to take his pictures =) He's soooo Cute, and wow, such a good puppy model, he could be famous!

Somewhere over the Rainbow

I have never taken a picture of a rainbow before! Saturday, it started out beautiful, I did Angel and Logan's photoshoot, then, I got home and it rained. I got a phone call saying that there was a rainbow, outside! Ahhh I was so excited, my camera was already set up, so outside I went. It wasn't the best location, but what the heck! Any rainbow is beautiful. A rainbow even made a boring old school, look beautiful!
